1. Police Officer. One of the most popular, and also most dangerous, crime fighting careers is that of a police officer. A police officer’s main duty is to enforce laws. They also work to make their community as safe and healthy as possible. A college degree and on-the-job training are necessary before an individual can become a police officer.
2. DEA Agent. A DEA (drug enforcement administration) agent helps fight or put an end to illegal drug activity. A bachelor’s degree in a criminal justice or related field is often necessary to become a professional DEA agent.
3. Security Guard. If you’ve ever wanted to protect property, assets or people, you may want to consider becoming a security guard. A special license and extensive on-the-job training is usually required to become a professional security guard.
